Chocolate Cups

Another post about balloons this week, I'm not sure why I keep running into balloon ideas....maybe an UP party is in my future?? I found this awesome tutorial on the famous Bakerella's blog on pudding cups. Today Maddy and I decided we would try to make the chocolate cups and fill them with ice cream. (Reality, mommy didn't feel like cleaning up all that gooey chocolate pudding that would get all over the place due to a 3 yr old) You can make the chocolate cups from semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate or candy coating. We opted for the Candy Melts with colorburst brights.
Bakerella makes everything look so delicious, effortless and easy. Easy as ONE,

TWO....

THREE...

Then out comes perfect chocolate cups.

Here is our version. Not quite as beautiful as Bakerella's version. My hubby says it looks very artistic....it being lopsided is cool looking...yeah, that's how we roll...we were really going for a slanted bowl look. LOL

It didn't matter, Maddy thought it was the bee's knees and she love it!! To see how to do this correctly and not have an "artistic" cup ~ check out Bakerella's post here. It also has an awesome pudding recipe to fill in the chocolate cup as well. The chocolate cups would be a great on a dessert buffet~don't you think?
