Sweet 16 Candy Buffet

(Click on photgraphs to enlarge)Maddycakes coordinated a super-fun Cirque du Alejandro (Soleil) themed Sweet 16 for a very sweet young man. I had so much fun with his theme! Here's a glimpse of his candy buffet. Created his custom signage of Cirque du Alejandro and it was everywhere and on everything throughout all of the party decor. Don't you just love the oversize photograph of the birthday boy behind the candy buffet?? Thanks Life Size Custom Cutouts!! The quality on the prints were just unbelievable!

Of course the photos were taken by my fabulous photographer Amy of Amy Fraughton Photography. If you live in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area~ you must hire this chick. She is a gorgeous mommy of four who owns her own photography business and gives classes on photography and Photoshop! You know I need to take her classes on Photoshop!!! It's on my list! In case you are wondering ~ the colors of tables look different because the LED lighting had various colors!!

Imprinted his custom signage on these plastic stadium cups which doubled as candy containers and take home favors.

I love how the cotton candy trees came out! The party peeps loved it too. My girls had to keep refilling the cotton candy all night. That is what you want! I try to always challenge myself to create some items that I haven't seen. I really don't want to duplicate but be unique. I will give you the 411 on these babies in another post.

Each candy jar label was customized with the Cirque du Alejandro logo symbol and type of candy.

My client asked for big lollipops~ do you think these 5 inch ones were big enough??? Everyone all night kept asking me~where in the world did I find these suckers ....Walmart! They were put out at Easter and when I saw them I grabbed every one.

I also put out smaller ones...which were next to these. (They were only 3 inches) Hey, I tried to save a few teeth! When Maddy saw me putting the ribbon and logo stickers on these she asked for one...NO WAY....SHE'S just turning 3!! So I gave her a dum dum lollipop and she was super happy! That's definitely more her size!!

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse of the Sweet 16....there is so much more to come.
