Not your ordinary Rice Krispies treats

Here is a super cute favor done by the talented mommy Angie remember her fab party here? Here is the recipe in her words.
Directions:
Follow Standard Rice Krispie Recipe:
6c rice krispie
3 Tablespoon butter
1 1lb pkg marshmallows
Allow Krispie mixture to cool for 5 minutes in bowl.....easier to work with when firm
Fill Keebler Ice Cream cone with mixture then use Ice cream scoop to add additional scoop on top of cone (I butter the scoop so it releases with ease)Let stand 30 minutes and then use melting chocolate (almond bark or candy sucker melts). Melt chocolate in small bowl or cup and then dip tops of cones in chocolate add colored sprinkles right away(I use Vanilla Almond Bark and use Wilton Icing Colors to dye the color of my choice)
After about 1-2 hours you can bag and tag for Favor bags. Wilton makes a great Favor Bags available at Michael's
Super Cute and the kids LOVE THESE!!!
P.S. Keebler make the nicest cones as far as detail and durability. Also, important to fill cone with mixture or they will be top heavy and tip over when displayed!!!

So I got to thinking what other fabulous things can one do with Rice Krispies???? Boy, did I find some great stuff. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!
Cake balls move aside...I think I've found an easier way!! You know I'm not a baker so the cake balls I made did not look like the ones I've been seeing all over blogland! I know I can do better with these tasty treats!! Who knew that Rice Krispies had a website stocked full of easy to do recipes that are super duper cute? I know what me and Maddy are doing tomorrow!!

  5. Wow...who knew there were so many things to do with rice krispy treats! I have made a three tiered cake using rice krispy treats for one layer, cocoa krispy treats for one, and fruity pebbles treats for one. But I am loving all these other ideas...especially those ice cream cones. :) Thanks for sharing.

  12. I love the cone idea but I have kids coming that have nut allergies and you used Almod Bark. Any other suggestions? Also if I'm using a cookie cutter do I use it when they are just spread out before they cool? I'm new at this and need help with an art themed party
