Daddy and Daughter Breakfast Picnic

The Daddy and Daughter breakfast picnic went wonderfully. Madison was so excited to have breakfast outside with daddy on the lawn. (Click on pictures to enlarge)I used red, white and blue color scheme. Maybe you can get some "muses" for your 4th festivities as well. Here is my centerpiece using the sock Dollar creation here. It was in Maddy's miniature Radio Flyer wagon.
Maddy insisted that we get daddy a balloon. (She got me one on Mother's Day too) Used a red charger, plastic stars and stripes dish from you guess it Dollar Tree. Bubble star necklace used as napkin (bandanna) holder.

Here is my Super Helper as she calls herself!

I love using Terracotta pots. They are very inexpensive and can be used for all sorts of things. I just painted a couple red and put the plastic ware in it. Got these star dishes from Dollar Tree.

I used Maddy's Radio Flyer wagon for the food buffet. Just put down the seats and laid in fabric.
Used red clothes pins to attach pictures.

Pictures were all of Maddy and her daddy from birth until now.

My hubby requested Shrimp. It was his day so I obliged.... I was going to make Shrimp and Grits (one of my personal favorites) but when I went to pull the shrimp out~ my hubby already had it marinating. Guess he really wanted it his way! LOL

It is so hot here that I kept the OJ on ice in a little red cooler. I got the cups from Dollar Tree last year. Too cute!

My dad is gone but I know he is a better place. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful life. I hope you all had a wonderful day. A special shout out to all who have to be mommy and daddy. Many blessings.
