Cirque Sweet 16

This past weekend I spent such wonderful quality time with Maddy. Daddy was out of town and we just had 2 days of Mommy and me time. I worked on nothing party!! Needless, to say it put me so behind for her party this weekend but what is more important quality time or getting some party decor done that really only me and a few mom's will notice!?? :) So today, I did several DIY projects and planned to share tonight. Until my mail came in and......yep you guess it the Cirque de Alejandro Sweet 16 party pictures came in. Thank you Amy...I love them so much and I know the family will also! Here is a picture of the popcorn buffet. I just love the 7 ft photos of him that were used. Of course my wonderful photographer Amy Fraughton did a photo shoot prior to the party.
(Click on photos to enlarge) Centerpieces that I made. I really love how they turned out. Of course, I had to make them on sight but didn't take too long.

This space was a very industrial space so very white and huge. I think the sails really filled the space and made it more cozy.

I think this is a really great shot. Of course the party hadn't started yet because there is still a feather and stuff on the floor! :)

I always personalize water bottles at every party even for my home dinners and parties~ even if I just use matching scrapbook paper. It looks way better than Arrowhead branding.

Speaking of branding. I always create a logo ~ a brand and use it through out the party on everything! Here is the popcorn signage. These signs were on thick foam board and were 2ft by 3 ft.
Remember these frames I made from Dollar Tree frames??? If not, look here.

The popcorn buffet was the last thing we set up and it was completed seconds before it was time to open up the doors for the party to begin. So we didn't give Amy much time to take any photos. However, she still managed to snap a few before the pandemonium begun! Used the Cirque logo on everything.

Back view of my popcorn tree. This baby took me some serious time to hot glue kernels of popcorn onto the Styrofoam cone. However, I really like how it turned out.

Just used take out boxed with the Cirque de Alejandro logo. These containers works great for eating at party and if the party goers want to take some popcorn to go it's easy.

I will post more party pics tomorrow to include the VIP area and entertainment. No worries, I still plan on showing all of the DIY projects for the Crayola party. Many of them will just be posted after the party while waiting for the professional photos of the party to come in. I have been waiting for these pictures and they were worth the wait!
