Bird Baby Shower

Nesting and bird themes are so hot right now in the party world. I love looking at people's take on this theme. My friend, Eleanor from Pink Peppermint Paper sent me this lovely Bird theme baby shower. However, this theme would work for any party. I had to laugh when I looked and saw these napkins...I just finished putting Maddy's napkins together for her party and I used paint brushes the same way these branches were used~great minds think alike! :) Loving the spray painted white and crackled finish on the branches with the paper bird cut out. Things do not have to be expensive to be special, unique and beautiful. This cake table was decorated with a square glass vase filled with birdseed and two long branches spray painted white and crackled like the twigs on the napkins. Scattered on the branches were an assortment of feathered friends attached using mini clothes pins. Loving the use of the birdseed!!Great display for the party favors~ favors are a standard for me. I just like my guests to leave with something as my way of thanking them for their time and friendship. I really LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this favor! I especially love the simplistic packaging with a note telling guests to take a favor to their nests. Inside the brown paper favor bags was a birdseed ball crafted from bird-friendly foam, peanut butter and birdseed. A piece of pink rick-rack ribbon was fashioned as the hanger.
