Paper Flower Tutorial

I got an overwhelming amount of emails asking how to make the red tissue flower in yesterday's post. I'm sorry my peeps for not including the super duper simple instructions!! Supplies needed are tissue paper, floral wire or pipe cleaners, scissors and a couple of minutes. This particular flower is easy cheesy to make.Directions
To create the tissue paper pom poms: Accordion fold 7 sheets of tissue paper together with 7 folds, each about 1 inch wide. Find the center of the stack and wrap floral wire around the center to create a divide. Round the edges (optional) but I find it will make a prettier flower if you do. Fan out each side of the tissue paper and carefully pull out each layer of paper until you have a ball.

  3. Are you kidding me? It's really that easy? Thanks for much for the how-to. I've been seeing these everywhere and wanted to make them but they looked too difficult for my old brain. LOL
