Valentine's Tea Party

Here is the little Valentine's tea party for Maddy and her best friends. If you are looking for a "styled" party...a party designed for photos then this is not it. LOL I don't do parties for photographs (as I call them) unless I was getting paid for it to go into a magazine! :) As you know my life is extremely hectic with running a business, weekend parties and just being a mom! However, I try my best to take out time to create memories for my daughter as often as I can.
The girls loved decorating their Valentine heart shaped cookies. I haven't met a kid yet that doesn't love to decorate cookies and cupcakes...and then eat them of course. Note: my daughter has on a blue shirt then changes to pink...why you ask??? (picture to follow)
Here is Madison's creation. (I took off many sprinkles when she wasn't looking). Don't have a picture but she was wearing more icing than her cookie hence the shirt change!
Here are the girls at their tea table. Madison was so excited to have tea with her "besties". Remember those stands I made from my Breakfast at Tiffany's birthday party? If not, check out here and here. The sun was in their eyes so we had to get out an umbrella to shade them. So sorry if it's still cold where you live! :(
A fruit centerpiece with apples and strawberries dipped in chocolate. What is more Valentine's then chocolate? Don't you just love the Owl tag from Paper and Pigtails. This printable collection is awesome great for a baby shower and birthday as well ~ plus it's editable! You can put your own custom sayings on them! AWESOME!! I had made some really cute personalized tags with each girl's name to go on their take out container but no pic...sorry! I was enjoying the girls, the sunshine and my buddy (the girl's mom). Printables make it so quick and easy to personalize your party/event. I love them so!!
The Nutella and marshmallow heart sandwich (the girls called them a Smore's sandwich) was too cute but being mom....I just couldn't see wasting the ends!! Not so "stylish" on plate but not being wasteful!
The cotton candy was a special treat. I really don't like giving my child pure sugar! :)

I made these treats for Madison's friends to take home and for Maddy to have at home to eat after tea party.

I got these take out containers after Valentine's last year from Michael's for 80% off.
Mini cupcake and cookies for take home as well.
