Continuing the Disney week, I'm thinking of under the sea parties. Of course Disney has Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo. Today, I'm focusing on mermaid parties. This theme is so versatile and can be interpreted so many ways. It can be whimsical, you can use bright colors but I lean more towards the blues (water) and elegance for this ultra girly party.
Isn't this bodice of this tutu just dreamy?? I love, love, love it! Amazing what spray paint and a glue gun can do!
Aren't wands a staple for little girls? Here is a mermaid version. You could also spray paint and add glitter to the starfish.
Don't forget the chairs. I think adding tulle and a starfish would be darling.
I actually like to use tons of real shells when I do beach/mermaid parties throughout the decor. Grab some unique ones while on vacay this year!
I just love this cake! It may be too "old" for the wee ones but perfect for the fashionista group.
Isn't this goldfish in a bag soap just adorable? A really cute and usable favor and no feeding required! I'm sorry but I dislike trinkety...like my word....favors. Most of that stuff breaks before you can even get home. I rather have one nice small favor than a bunch of trinkety stuff.
OMG I love that tutu in the first pic and the wand in the second, so adorable!!! Fabulous inspiration!
