Ladies Tea Party

First, let me start off by saying EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!! What a wonderful way to start the day when I found out that I was featured over at Today's Creative Blog!! I am so thankful and honored to be among the talented and creative group who has been previously featured by the lovely Kim! She was a speaker at the Phoenix Bloggy Boot Camp that I attended. Kim has a wonderful personality and she cracked me up. It so nice to meet a person in the "real" world who is exactly how you envision them from the "blog" world.
Thanks Kim!!

This wonderful tea party was submitted by Rileigh of Blue Satin Sashes. It is a ladies tea party with the theme Jane Austen meets Alice in Wonderland. All of the tables were named after different places in Jane Austen novels. Too cute! I love tea parties and going to tea rooms. This group of women all pitched in and brought in their own linen and tea settings. Linens of lace and pink satin, colored roses and sun faded stripes covered long tables as tea cups and saucers from all over the world sat at each setting. In my world of party decor being so matchy matchy it is so refreshing to see things be not so perfectly matched but yet still beautiful!
Loving the simple flower arrangements and allowing the beautiful tea settings be the focal point.

The food needs no description~ YUM!!

LOVING the hats. When I host tea parties for women, I love to have hats, flowers and tons of embellishments (and of course my handy dandy glue guns) so that the women can get all crafty and creative making their hat masterpieces! Then have hat categories for prizes. Thanks Rileigh for sharing!
