Hamburger Cookies

I made some hamburger cookies for my upcoming Burger Bash on Saturday. This is the most easiest, no bake recipe I've ever done! Try these hamburger cookies for your next BBQ, family reunion or party. Ingredients:

Vanilla Wafers

Coconut

Red and Yellow frosting...I used Easy Squeeze

Green food coloring

Fudge Mint cookies...Keebler makes Mint Grasshopper cookies

Put coconut in large Ziploc bag and squirt a few drops of green food coloring. Shake~

then you have your lettuce. Put a vanilla wafer round side down, add a dab of frosting so fudge mint cookie will stick. Then add strips of red and yellow frosting near the edge to simulate mustard and ketchup. Add the green coconut on top then top with vanilla wafer.

So super duper easy!! Plus they totally look like hamburgers. I've seen another version that added corn syrup then sesame seeds on top or to use a small Peppermint Patty as the burger. I'm not a fan of sesame seeds or the extra work so I'll stick with this recipe.

Today I posted my very first video on You Tube and shared it with my Facebook peeps. I sound like a geek (I'm really not) but it's got some budget tips so I thought I would share it with my blog peeps as well...in case your not a friend on FB. Click here.

  2. My mom has been making these since we were little kids! We call them Little Big Macs. We would bring them as our birthday snack with pudding in small cups and a straw to look like a shake! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
