Goody Strikes Again

Am I in a wedding boutique?? No, I'm in Goodwill....what??? Do you see all of these gorgeous wedding gowns?? Unbelievable! Why am I showing you this?? One ~it's a great option for some brides but my mind instantly went into party mode. I can dye these and get awesome princess dresses. So if you don't have character princesses in your area or can't afford one. Try this route!! RIT is my favorite dye and I use it all of the time. In a pinch, I've used my gorgeous niece to be a princess for me! You can use friends, neighborhood teenagers or family. The little girls at the party will think it's awesome...trust me I know!!

I got an email today that I just had to share. A couple of days ago I posted about my great Goodwill finds here- the person who actually donated the plates saw my blog post. How amazing is that!!!! Unbelievable. Now the plates mean so much more to me now....I even want to go back and get the other 6!! Thanks so much Jonie for your email!!!

I had donated those blue and silver plates to Goodwill that you have pictured on your blog. (So exciting that its pictured!) My father was in the military and bought them in Japan over 35 years ago. He bought a set for my mother and grandmother and when she passed on I received both sets and a set of 24 was just too much for me! Lugging all those dishes all over the U.S. just got to be too much. Such a small world! So glad that you're able to create something new with them! Ingenius! Thanks for your blog.
