Used paint trays and paint buckets as candy containers. Remember when I told you that I got tons of candy for Maddy's party when I went to a Hollywood video store going out of business sale months ago? I got the movie size candies for 90% off! You can really get great deals on candy when it goes on clearance after holidays~just check the shelf life of your candy.
To cover up my family room photos, I had Maddy create "art" with hands and feet. Used vinyl stickers to look like paint splatter from spilling paint buckets.
Local blogging party buddy gave me the tip on the Crayola lollipops at the 99 cents store! Thanks!
Use what you already own for decor. You will be amazed at what you can find around your home to use. I used our ladder to hang the kids art aprons.
Used stencil and fabric marker to personalize.
I made water wraps.

Upon arrival each child got an art station card and when they completed that station it would get marked off. They traded in their completed card for a PRIZE! (really their favor). My sweet neighbor's 13 yr old daughter and 5 of her friends were my art station helpers. Each girl was at an art station. The kids LOVED the girls and their help was invaluable!Art Stations were:
- Play Doh
- Create a masterpiece~kids painted on 16x20 canvas
- Sand Art
- Create a tote~used fabric markers on canvas tote bags
- Foot mural (the kids favorite!) painted on long rolls of paper using their feet
- Family sign in-using fabric paint each family painted something for Maddy on fabric squares that will be made into quilt
Even party planners give into their children's requests for water slides/bounce houses!
Found this wood number 3 at 99 cents store~jazzed it out with Crayola 3D stickers.
Can't show food display yet but here was the backdrop. Posters were put on colored foam boards.
Used Paint buckets for containers for food. Guests painted on their condiments.
Can you believe I found this Crayola fabric at a thrift store for $1.99? Always keep your eyes open!!
Kids chose their favors ~ colorful beach totes or sand pails.
Found this adorable polka dot thank you card at Dollar Tree.
Favor contents.
Scored this Color and sing CD at Doller Tree~can't see in picture but Clifford is holding an art palatte.
