Cotton Candy Trees

I'm so sorry that I have not posted a tutorial on the cotton candy trees. I keep meaning to take the time to make another one to show you step by step but with Maddy's party this Saturday ~ it looks like that is never going to happen. Please forgive me for just explaining with no step by step photos. However, it is so super duper simple I think you won't need any.

Materials:

  • Plastic garden pot (I got mine from Big Lots $6)
  • Spray paint (I used gold)
  • Plaster of Paris (got from Michael's)
  • Manzania Branches (Blooms and Branches ~ online store)
  • cotton candy (Smart and Final)

Steps:

  1. Spray paint pots to desired color.
  2. Mix plaster paris according to directions. Pour into pots.
  3. Stick manzania branches into plaster paris pots while still wet. I put the pot against a wall in the sun and completely dried in about 20 minutes.
  4. Stick cotton candy onto Manzania branches until you get a full tree.

I told you easy cheezy!!
