I used my Hobby Lobby grass and planted carrots filled with candy. Added scrapbook paper to bubbles. Paper is the easiest and least expensive way to color coordinate your party.
I always love to hang things above the space as well. It always add that extra pop of color and fills the space. Got these from Hobby Lobby (50% off).
Got the bags from $ Tree added the scrapbook paper on top of egg shape and the circles came from Kim at TomKat. She offered a 50% off sale on her Easter printables and of course I jumped at it. Not only is she fabulous but 50% off....I could not resist!! Thanks Kim!
We had 2 craft stations. I used Maddy's picnic bench and table and chairs from playroom. Since all the kids were 5 and under this made it much easier for the parents and the kids. Here was the ceramic egg painting station. I found these eggs at Goodwill about 2 months ago for only 50 cents a package of 4! I'm a lucky girl!! This was the real egg dyeing station with food coloring and stickers. Here is a picture taking during set up...thanks Amber...because it's the only one I have of the whole kids table!! Isn't the bunny cute~ she has all the colors of the party on her. Great find at Cracker Barrel for 70% off. (only $6)I love already having the kids food at their place setting. This alleviates the parents from making their plates plus it's ready for the kids to eat right after crafts or activity time. I used sand buckets instead of Easter baskets because I felt the kids could use them more. Edible green grass for nests with a few jelly beans for eggs.
Finished setting with fresh fruit kabobs. Inside their pails was ham, turkey and provolone hoagies, Sun Chips, and peeps...sorry no pics.
Whose child is this that putting all of the eggs into the green food coloring with the green hands? All the kids are off playing...where is my child?? She continued to paint and.....took all the beautiful creations and was smashing them! Is this my child?? Art is in the eye of the beholder, right?? Let the egg hunt begin!
What a fantastic party!!!!
