Cool centerpieces

Tonight I was working on the invitations for the Sweet 16 and had every intentions on posting pics. Then I started going through my computer and found these pictures and wonder why haven't I shared these with my peeps??? I am always saving things that "muse" me!
I love this centerpiece of ice that I found on Rachel Ray. Just use a milk or juice carton to freeze your ice making sure to put a thin circular object inside like a wooden spoon and tape it so once frozen you can stick your flowers in. For some added drama -you can add just about anything you can think of to the ice once it has formed a little and continue to freeze. Example is the holly photo above then add your flowers.

This cool centerpiece is made of Jello! Just think of the possibilities...jello comes in so many colors! Combine 6 mixes with half of the water specified, chill for 1/2 hour then push in flowers, fruit, rocks, marbles, whatever you can imagine in the semi firm gelatin for a one of a kind creation.
