Made It!

We made it to New Orleans for The Special Event. My day started at 0430, so I am very tired just wanted to say Hi!! Here is a picture of the outside of exhibit hall. The hall opens up on Wednesday and I will post every cool "new" thing I see. They have over 300 vendors so it will take me the whole 3 days to get to them all. However, education classes start tomorrow and I speak tomorrow afternoon!! I am excited and nervous! I'm so glad my class is the first day so afterwards I can relax and really enjoy the conference. This was in the hallway of the convention center....Madison was terrified of it....actually so am I!
It is freezing here compared to Phoenix!! However, Maddy loved wearing a coat and her penguin hat. She has been wanting to wear these for weeks now but no need in 75 degree weather! I know Arizona has beautiful winter weather but not so great in the summer when it's 120 degrees! That's it for tonight my pretties...

  3. You got to take her with you? When I used to go to Market for my gift shop, they wouldn't let kids go. My daughter was always part of my business and I was lucky that by 9 we could pass her off as 13! My husband spent quite a bit of time at hotel pools and in the room with my son.

  5. Thanks for updating us followers! Madison's hat IS adorable & that Mardis Gras jester is a bit freaky! I bet they're starting to gear up for Mardis Gras...also an experience of a lifetime. Let us know how your class went today when you get a minute and have a great time!

  6. Thanks Ladies!! Sue, I am very fortunate to have a awesome nanny who has been with Maddy since she was 13 weeks old. Wherever I go Maddy and her nanny goes also!! So Maddy has her activities planned during the day while mommy goes to class. They do not allow children in TSE! (no one under 16) Today she visited the Louisiana Children's museum.

  7. Look at you! I saw your name on the presenters list and remembered you from last year and the unbelievably kind blog post you mentioned me in! I wondered whatever happened to you ...that blog just seemed to stop on day! So proud of you for not only pursuing your passion and rockin this blog, but presenting this year! WOW! I had an event last week I didn't want to miss out on so I had to miss out on TSE instead, but several friends kept me in the loop every day. Your pix are beautiful. Just wanted to say HI! and Congrats! :)
    Warmly,
    Robyn
