Designer Wedding Gallery Part I

The wedding gallery showcased 4 designers who were challenged with working with one element-paper, wood, metal, and glass. The wood was my favorite.
Here is the wood inspired challenge:

I love the layered glass dishes.

Loving the wood vase.

Love the pop of blue with the napkins and seat cushions.

I absolutely love the chairs!! I love the use of the wood material that was used and floral arrangement! The brown and blue simply beautiful! Here is the name card display.

The Metal challenge. You can't see from the photo but the tables were in an X formation and 2 tables were put side by side so much more space. Kept the centerpieces low on tables and in the middle of X put dramatic arrangement using galvanized steel buckets for vases.
Love the use of metal for menu card.

Here is the inspiration metal wedding cake. It's definitely not for everyone but remember the designers had to use their material as inspiration.

I think I have taken enough pictures to post for weeks!!! Last night was the Welcome Event at Mardi Gras World which is home to the Mardi Gras floats. This event showcases the host town's caterers and chefs. Can you say I ate so much that I had to hold my stomach in when I walked around??? New Orleans has such fabulous and unique food!!

  1. I love the wood one. My favorite is the back of the chairs...so cool. This looks like such fun! The metal...not me.
