Don't you just love the pink fish bone frame I found at $ Tree????---NOT!! You know I'm not going to leave this in it's current state! I thought it would be really cool to use picture frames on my Thanksgiving table- as place cards and to show who I am thankful for.
For me this project was only $1 because I had all of the materials on hand.
You need scrapbook paper, exacto knife, glue, hot glue gun, ribbon and flower.

I just used the frame as my template for cutting. I turned the frame upside down to cut out the inside with a exacto knife.

I glued the scrapbook paper on frame (I used Mod Podge), then glued ribbon on (I used scrapbook glue) then hot glued flower on. I just hot glued on the brads for extra bling. (I had them on hand and just cut off backs) Isn't this better than the pink fish bone frame? It was super simple and took me about 15 minutes.

Sneak peek of my Thanksgiving table that I'm still getting ready~ after seeing picture frame with tablescape I am going to change the picture to sephia. I think that will work better. Sorry for the bad picture- it is late here so no natural lighting. I will get better pictures tomorrow and post my whole Thanksgiving tablescape.
I really do think it is wonderful you are "fussing" over the table for the 3 of you. You are creating memories for that precious little one. This is a great idea and could be used for many different occasions.

Very cute, and easy to do! Hope you and the family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteMy mother would do the same thing when I was growing up. I have older sisters who had married by the time I was 6, so it was just my mom, dad and me during most holidays. She made the holidays so special!
La Toya,
