Paper cones

If you don't already know I love to use paper. It is inexpensive, comes in every color and pattern one can imagine, and it is cheap. You can also find such beautiful textures in paper. I use it in many different ways for party decor. If you haven't seen paper cones....where have you been?? Paper cones are very easy to do, can go with any theme and color, plus can be filled with a variety of things.
I love the zebra print that Hostess of the Mostess used. (she is so creative)

Of course, leave it to Martha (Stewart ... was there any question?) to use them for candy favors as well as putting flowers in for decor.

Things you need to make paper cones:

~sheet of paper (any kind)
~scissors
~tape or glue

1. Cut a circle out of a piece of any kind of paper.
2. Cut a triangle by making two cuts to the center of the circle as shown. The triangle should be one quarter of the circle.
3. Fold the circle, overlapping the edges a little, and tape together.

This is such an easy project and so versatile. If you have any pictures of your DIY paper cones and how you used them please submit to me. I love to see your work and how creative you are!
