Pinata Sugar Cookies with a Surprise Inside

How cute are these pinata cookies by She Knows? I LOVE them! Great for Cinco de Mayo or any fiesta!!  I want these for my Fiesta Forty-Five party! I'm not a baker and looks like a lot of steps but so worth it!

Nursing School Graduation Favors

I am back from the SNAP conference and I truly had an amazing time! I am still recuperating from lack of sleep! I will post more details this week. I met the most amazing people, learned so much from the classes and the event was put together flawlessly with the attention to detail just perfection! I am getting ready for 4 custom parties and thinking of adding a graduation party for Madison as well since we will be on vacation when her preschool graduates! BUMMER!
Here are the favors I am making for my BFFs Nursing school graduation. I got the hand sanitizer from Walmart for 88 cents and the shot pens from Oriental Trading. I peeled off the front label and used my handy dandy Cricut to make the germ juice labeling. I am having her party in a local park so the kids can hop on the rides and the moms can sit back and relax. I generally have parties at my house but think this is a nice change plus our girls love this park. I will be making packed picnic lunches and still planning on having a dessert table. So stay tuned for the details.

Princess and the Pea Party

I can finally let the cat out of the bag! Madison's Princess and the Pea party (that was her Easter party) was featured today on Hostess with the Mostess! I am so excited! I finally decided to submit one of Madison's parties and was truly honored that Jenn chose it for a feature! DIY Picnic Baskets

I love these DIY picnic baskets made out of butcher paper by Oh Happy Day. Jordan also provided free printable template and step by step instructions. I am definitely trying this one this summer. Bring on the PICNICS!

Fish Tacos + Patron Margaritas

I am a fan of any food in mini! I am prepping for my Fiesta Forty Five birthday party and looking for muses. Love this display of mini fish tacos plus Patron margaritas! Would also be perfect for Cinco De Mayo! Now to get a hold of 100 mini Patron bottles.

Kool-Aid Popcorn

I have this Kool-Aid popcorn picture on my Pinterest board. I just think it's the coolest! You get color and flavor all in one! Just imagine the possibilities! You will be seeing this again for Madison's birthday party this year!

Ingredients

• 2 cups Sugar
• 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
• ⅔ cups Butter Or Margarine
• 6 quarts Plain Popped Popcorn
• 2 packages Kool-Aid (Any Flavor You Want)
• 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

Preparation Instructions

Preheat oven to 225 F.

Boil sugar, syrup and butter/margarine together for 3 minutes.

On a large shallow ungreased baking dish, spread out popped popcorn.

In a separate bowl, combine the Kool-Aid with the baking soda.

Remove sugar syrup from the stove and carefully stir in the Kool-Aid mixture. (Note: This will make the sugar mixture puff up. Be careful to not get burned.)

Now take sugar mixture and pour it over the popped popcorn. Carefully mix all till combined.

Place it in the oven and stir every 10 minutes. Repeat this 3 more times.

Take popcorn out of the oven and when it starts to cool, break it apart into pieces.

Enjoy!

Chanel Birthday Dessert Table
