Need:
Flip flops ~ Dollar Tree
Water Balloons (about 200 per pair)
(It does take about 1 hr to complete so not good to make with the wee little ones)
How To:
Double tie knots onto sandal. If you are doing a pattern it would be best to start at the sides of the flip flop and work your way to the toe. Keep tying balloons on the flip- flop until you achieve the effect you want.
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I know some teenage girls who will love this! Wouldn't these be fun to use as a "bow" on top of a gift package? Talk about WOW!
ReplyDeleteFun idea, fun post!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That is just the most unique idea ever!!
ReplyDeleteSo darn cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's a terrific idea for flip flops and would make a fun activity with kids, so I'll be linking to this from our Flip Flop party pages for kids. - Christine
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI make flip flops just like this one here in Brazil, but our ballons aren't quite as colorful. Where did you buy it?
Thanks! =)
I was wondering which kind of water balloons the long balloons or the small water balloons? i have the small one's but when i go to tie them the air goes out of the balloon and it shriveled up like an raisin. email me at mrs.kfurnish@gmail.com please
ReplyDeleteJust made a pair! Girls would LOVE to make these on a sleep-over!
LOVE this! I turned two pairs of my daughter's flip flops into IT Flops! she love them!
