Easter Tablescape
In honor of the Easter/Spring Tablescape and Parties Contest I put together an Easter tablescape on a budget of course....you do know me!! Thanks to Susan from Between Naps on the Porch for hosting Tablescape Thursday and also for being one of the judges for the Tablescape/Parties Contest!
My lovely bunny came from Goodwill as well as the cake plate. The bunny was 25 cents and the cake plate was $3.99. You really can't see it but it is a nice and simple clear glass one. I added some grass and butterflies that I bought from JoAnn's last year on clearance. The eggs I got from $ Tree (4 in a pack). The grass came from Hobby Lobby for $3.99.
My neighbor saw me outside, came over to see what I was putting together this time. (LOL) She said hold on...went home and came back with these adorable rabbits. She got these in Seattle a few years ago at a $ store as well....boy does she know me too!
I didn't feel like dragging things out to the backyard so I was in the front yard...my neighbors are so used to me. Doing tablescapes outside for good lighting, spray painting something, hot gluing stuff....etc.
Had the plates and butterfly napkin rings...they are used for Maddycakes Garden Fairy theme.

Bought 12 of the glasses at Goodwill for $7.50.
Hope you like! There seems to be some confusion on the contest. It is an Easter/Spring Tablescape and Parties Contest. The confusion seems to be on what is a Spring party. I say when in doubt post anyway!! Here are a few themes that would work be a spring party garden, garden fairy, bumble bee, chick, flowers, ladybug, frog, and tea party to name a few. Prizes totaling $300!
I also promised you all a $ Day Creation. I did it today but am way too tired too post! You know I hate to disappoint so I will do another one tomorrow and have a 2 for 1 deal!! Okay???

Super cute tablescape. Love all the bunnies and such great finds at the dollar store. I am so jealous...our dollar store/dollar tree here is so very lame.
ReplyDeleteWow,
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Perfect for spring and Easter too! Love the bunnies. I'm jealous, my outdoor table is currently covered in a foot and a half of snow! Dee Dee
Looks you have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for the spring party. Lots of easter eggs too+
Greetings from a snowy Stockholm.

I love your butterfly and bunny themed picnic. The bunny was a buy! Thank you for inviting me to your contest. I'm in!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I entered the contest. The table was actually for my son's Christening, but it has always looked like an Easter table to me. The cross and gingham I suppose. I hope that I wasn't one of the entries to which you were referring. If it isn't on theme, I am very sorry. Please let me know. I just thought if one didn't know it was a Christening table it would certainly work for Easter.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, yours is adorable! Thanks so much, I have so enjoyed my visits this week and look forward to many more!
so cute! i love that it's outside!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you ladies know...it is 83 degrees here! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy tablescape...love it! I am liking that 25¢ bunny, too...great buy.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and I'm so envious of you being able to be outside! I can't wait. I'm trying to figure out what to do for my spring tablescape...I'm working on it.

ReplyDeleteIt looks great! You are so good at making things look good on a budget. I am terrible! I always spend way too much money. =)
